House Extension, Mid Calder, West Lothian

Improved family spaces and a better connection to the garden is created by extending the home to the side and rear. A new single storey extension and internal alterations create a large open plan family room at ground floor, with a high ceiling and curved wall to embrace the garden and enjoy the evening sun. The extension to the side creates a home office at ground floor, a first floor additional bedroom and new bathroom. The construction is highly insulated and uses renewable technologies of air source heat pump and solar thermal water heating. Design service up to building warrant stage.
